Dynamometer Laboratory

This facility supports the MET program course, ETME 3252 L – Thermodynamics Lab, as well as ETCE 3271L – Building Systems Lab. This lab houses the Small Engine Test Bench with Dynamometer and Data Acquisition Hardware, as well as the Turbine Technologies Model SR-30 Rankine Cycle Experiment and the Megatech Mark III Transparent 4 cycle Engine.

Dyno & Engines Equipment

Each of these experiments is incorporated into the ETME 3252 Lab syllabus, while the Rankine Cycle steam turbine demo supplements the lab syllabus for ETCE 3271L.
